Another one of our department courses was Language and Literature Teaching. This course is taught by Aysel Deregözü, a valuable PhD. lecturer in our department. The book we used as ELT students is ‘Literature and Language Learning in the EFL CLasrooms’ by Masayuki Teranishi, Yoshifumi Saito,Katie Wales. The content of the course is generally about how to integrate literature into the classroom and activities. It provides practical strategies and activities for EFL teachers to effectively integrate literary texts into their curriculum, aiming to engage students and improve their language skills.
